you know what i'm not here for? kieran ivers not saying A GODDAMN THING while his cousin's privacy is being OPENLY VIOLATED by the media right now. i've been saying for ages that his "too cool to care" attitude and "being real" was all just an act to seem down to earth and humble but here he is, doing the most to preserve his own shitty reputation by not getting involved while his family crashes and burns. real fucking classy, dude. glad to know you're an anti-feminist as well as a selfish asshole.
To add to the above since I've seen people reblogging this and defending him because it's "not his place to get involved" and Minna "probably didn't want him saying anything about the leak":
Kieran has gone on record in interviews saying a) how protective he and Minna are over each other, and b) that he considers himself a feminist. This is from a 2012 magazine interview around the time that the first Hunger Games movie came out:
(on having family in the business): "I think it gives us a unique perspective, since we're so close in age and know each other from a normal world. We're quite protective of one another and are always going to each other for advice about this and that. There is a lot of texting about scripts and if we think they sound good or absolutely awful. I think it's a comfort and constant in the madness of our lives."
That is just one quote of dozens from over the years. Minna has similarly referred to Kieran as her best friend and her greatest source of patience and understanding, so I can't imagine that she didn't reach out to him when everything went down with her leak. Other celebrities are making statements in Minna's defense and are posting on social media about the situation but Kieran, her best friend and protector, is radio silence.
In other words? He's a complete hypocrite.

Dear Kieran,
I don't know if you've heard yet there but the vote was LEAVE!!!! I cannot remember the last time I felt this heartbroken..... to watch our country do this to itself.... Dad is off the wall and I doubt he'll want to travel all the way to Dublin anymore, not with this madness unfolding. Will you and Minna be able to re-schedule your flights for another time? I'm sorry love, I don't mean to disappoint you but at least we have our trip to Los Angeles later this summer to look forward to. I will try to call when it's a little later your time (know how you love to sleep in.....)
Love always,
Mum xx
This just goes to show you how many BIGOTS live here!!! Truly eye-opening in the worst way. I know it seems like an overreaction but better safe than sorry as they say..... thank you for understanding. I'll give you a ring now that I know you are up x
Love,
Mum xx
Sorry, Stephanie. No go. His publicist shut it down. Thought it was a great idea. Look, between you and me, I imagine they'll still be seen together, so if you want to suggest anything...
Well, I won't tell a soul. What's for the agency is good for them, right?

Luc Besson is heading back to Comic-Con with Valerian but unlike last year, the Lucy director is showing a lot more than sneak peek sketches and has a much bigger stage. With stars Kieran Ivers and Cara Delevingne in tow, EuropaCorp founder will be taking to the high profile and cavernous Hall H to show exclusive footage from the upcoming sc-fi epic. As any attendee of the fanboy and fangirl confab knows, a Hall H appearance means you are in the mega-leagues.
The Valerian panel is set for SDCC 2016’ opening day of July 21 at 1PM in the much desired multi-thousand seater hall. Having skipped CineEurope to have an SDCC exclusive, this presentation comes exactly one year to the day before the $180 million 3D epic is released on July 21, 2017. Valerian is based on the 1967 French graphic novel series from writers Pierre Christin and Jean-Claude Mézières. Less than 2-weeks ago, the director shared this via Twitter:
Editing finished!!!!

Now time for VFX.
2734 shots and 300 days to go!!!😳#valerian pic.twitter.com/FRzunLybAH
On the scale of Besson’s 1997 pic The Fifth Element, Valerian sees Ivers and Delevingne will play Valerian and Laureline in an adaptation of the original story. With time travel themes galore, the comic focused on a pair of spatio-temporal agents who help defend a utopian 28th century Earth and its neighboring planets. The film also stars Clive Owen, Rihanna, and Ethan Hawke. (source)
